The Kingdom of God is Righteousness

Romans 14:17 NKJV

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Righteousness - the Greek word dike (dee kay) meaning justice and conformance to established standards.

2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

We are the justice of God. We are God's greatest glory and His greatest joy. We are the fruit of His victory over the enemy.

2 Corinthians 5:17-20 NKJV

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

We are His Ambassadors. Ministers of reconciliation. We are the justice of God bringing others into this justice.

We have been made righteous...just. From that position we walk in the ways of the Kingdom, the established standards. There is nothing that we have to do to be righteous. He made us to become His righteousness. The old is gone and the new has come. God doesn't see the old any longer. He sees you as His righteousness/His justice. From that position, as a beloved son/daughter, unconditionally loved by the Father- we do the works of righteousness and walk in the ways of the Kingdom (established standards).

You cannot earn righteousness, it is given. You cannot do righteous acts to earn your righteousness or keep it. Rather righteousness, which is a free gift, infuses you with grace to do the works of righteousness to bring peace and joy to others.

OneLife part 2

Colossians 3:1-3
1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Set your mind on things above for you died and your life is hidden in Him. Your past died when you were born again. You went from darkness to light. From death to life. From mess to new. Now your past only goes back to Christ and that's where it stops and that's where it began.

Colossians 3:10
10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,

1 John 3:9
9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

When you were born again you were given a new man with the seed of Christ in you. This seed throbs with eternal life and thrives in eternal life. When we set our mind on eternal things this seed grows and the old man vanishes away. The Word of God is incorruptable and will never pass away. It has eternal life in it. It is living (Hebrews 4:12). It has God's DNA in it. We are renewed in knowledge. The more of the Word that we take in and walk out the more we are renewed. This new man is continually renewed taking in the Word growing up into Him, becoming more and more like Christ...being renewed into the image of Him who created him.

Galatians 2:20
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

OneLife part 1

Galatians 3:27 NKJV

For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

The phrase "put on" is the Greek word enduo which has the idea of sinking into something...it becomes like your skin and you can't take it off. You are in it and it is in you. You are it and it is you.

Colossians 1:27 NKJV

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Christ in you is the hope of glory. Christ in you is the hope of the glory of God being manifest in the earth. Christ in you is the hope of you not being the old man you always were, but being a new species, a new race with His DNA and His blood in your veins that is ever evolving more and more into His image and likeness. A race throbbing with the eternal life of God.

2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

This new life is almost unimaginable. It is one life with Him...in Him. It's His life in you and through you. This life will become so much a part of you that you won't even remember who you were or how you are "supposed" to live. But it will be natural to do the works of Jesus and do the will of the Father.
